Arcam CR remote control
May 17, at 4: Dec 22, Messages: Well it is different to set up than the CR80 and takes a bit of reading the manual and searching on here to get it worked arccam.
Once you have worked out that if your kit isn’t Arcam that you have to unlock each mode to set it to another manufacturer then it is fairly straight forward. It arca, less bulky than the CR80 with a lighter feel although this is more of a plasticy feel than the rubbery one of the CR It looks a lot zrcam too. As I have a Naim set up the Arcam codes were the same as Naims so I had to run it in “Zone 2” mode, thus losing some of the functionality of the CR80 controlling the With the CR however this seems to have been overcome.
I still have to run the in the alternative mode but it seems like functions such as mode and display are still available.

Which is not critical but nice to have. All in all once I get used to the layout a definite improvement. And you can control SkyHD with it too. All the Red Yellow Green Blue function buttons are available too. The only problem so far. The Oppo DVD code will work to turn it on and off but the other buttons don’t represent the correct commands. Has anyone used another code for an Oppo successfully?

Apart from that little quirk it is a winner for me!! Thanks x 1 List.
May 18, at 9: OK second issue, with the codes again for 3rd party kit. However last night trying to access the stop record pause functions they don’t seem to work correctly.
May 18, at CrustyloaferMay 18, Sep 12, Messages: OK, tried it again this morning and you are correct Crustyloafer it is as cf100 should be. The Oppo DVD still won’t work however. The commands are completely different to the buttons on the CR May 18, at 1: Aug 27, Messages: Hi, If the commands are present for your DVD player but on the wrong buttons you can move buttons arround using the Key mover option described in the manual. May 18, at 3: Andy, thanks for the reply.
I was impressed with the macro function. It has a time delay you can use between pressing the buttons.
On turning the it seemed to default to the AV input. After programming the power on buttons I left a gap of 5 to 6 seconds then wrcam a SAT press and hey presto.
Everything turns on and the swaps to the SAT source. Jan 20, at 8: QuintusCg100 20, Jan 14, Messages: The CR is a “learning remote”, is it not? If the buttons aren’t doing what they are supposed to, can you not simply re-train them using the manufacturer’s original remote for the device you are trying to control with teh CR? I’m curious because I am awaiting delivery of the AVR and I understand that it is supposed to ship with the CR which will likely be a minor arcan to the CR Can someone confirm fr100 this remote does, in fact, allow you to re-program any button?

Was wondering if any subscribers to this thread can help out with the relevant CR code to control a Thomson Sky HD box? Thanks for that trailer. Yeah I had worked my way down that list but gave up before Just tried it and seems to work except Backup.
